1) Is it gluten-free?
Yes. Ragi (finger millet) is naturally gluten-free. Our core ingredients (ragi, peanut, sesame, jaggery) don’t contain gluten.
2) Is it good for kids? From what age?
Great for kids who comfortably eat solids (generally 12+ months). Break into small pieces for toddlers. Note: peanut & sesame are common allergens—introduce cautiously if unsure and avoid if allergic.
3) Is it “diabetic-friendly”?
It’s refined-sugar free (sweetened with jaggery), but jaggery is still added sugar and can raise blood glucose. If you manage diabetes, enjoy small portions.
4) What makes ragi special here?
Ragi brings a rare combo for a sweet: calcium, fiber, and micronutrients—with a naturally gluten-free profile. That’s why it’s a popular “smart-swap” grain.
5) Where does the protein/healthy fats come from?
From peanuts and sesame seeds—they add plant protein, good fats, and minerals (like calcium and iron in sesame). Win for satiety, flavor, and texture.
6) Is it vegan?
Yes it is 100% vegan. Our recipe uses ragi, peanut, sesame, jaggery—no dairy.
7) How many should I eat in one go?
They’re energy-dense (nuts + seeds + jaggery). For everyday snacking, 1–2 pieces is a sensible portion—pre-workout, tiffin, or tea-time.
8) Any preservatives or refined sugar?
No preservatives. No refined sugar. Sweetness comes from jaggery only.
